Sending messages to mobile telephones
I am no longer in Morocco and as such cannot receive an SMS text message to my cellphone. Due to several email requests, however, I will leave these instructions on how you can send an SMS text message directly to any mobile phone in Europe or Morocco:
Go to the website www.everyday.com.
On the above left, under "Enregistrement", for "utilisateur" (username) type "greginmorocco" and for "mot de passe" (password) type "redandgreen" - the colors of the Moroccan flag. Then click "GO" just to the right.
Now, on the left list of options under the heading "Zone Phone", choose the option "SMS" (free SMS, which are the text messages sent to mobile phones). On the next page, click directly on the little yellow box below which reads "Cliquez ici pour envoyer un SMS". You now may have to again ignore an ad and click on the line reading "Cliquez ici pour envoyer un SMS".
Now type for "Numéro de Téléphone": +21265615611
Next to "De:" erase Gregin Morocco and type your name.
Now in the "Message" box type the message, noticing remaining characters in the box on the bottom right labelled "caractères restant:". Click on the orange box "Etape Suivante" (next stage) to proceed.
You can now click "Modifier" to change either destination number or the actual message. If all is ready to go, send the message by clicking on the image under where is says "Cliquez sur l'image ci-dessous pour envoyer votre message".
Within about 15 minutes, assuming the telephone is on and in range, the message should be received.
